Ed Haywood has been associated with the long term care industry since 1982, serving as Administrator and Regional Operations Manager for Healthcare and Retirement Corporation (HCR Manor Care), one of the national’s largest providers of skilled nursing services. In 1997, Ed joined Leisure Living Management as Vice President of Operations for this Grand Rapids based provider of assisted living services. In 2005, Ed formed his own consulting firm, concentrating and specializing in employee benefits and retention. His experience, success and common sense approach in developing and implementing hiring and retention programs in the long term care industry have made a dramatic impact on quality patient care and facility operations for more than two decades.

Josh Haywood joined Haywood & Associates as a partner in April, 2011. Following his graduation from Grand Valley State University in 2001 (Bachelor of Business Administration), Josh spent more than a decade assisting thousands of clients in structuring and repositioning financial assets. His efforts have earned him multiple national awards in the mortgage and finance industry. His experience includes leading his own production team in the individual market as well as successfully partnering with business owners and operators in their financial planning decisions.

Kim joined Haywood & Associates in October, 2007 with over nine years of Human Resource experience, specializing in employee benefits and administration. In her current role as Operations Manager, Kim serves as an extension of our client's human resource departments by processing enrollments and terminations as well as overseeing and managing employee inquiries and claims. She takes a lead role with annual renewals, data collection and open enrollments. Kim's possesses a passion for educating client employees about the value and use of their employee benefit plans.
